I'm not sure if it was intentional, but this has a weird mix between old-school and modern brickfilm production. Maybe because it both has Johnny Thunder and Indiana Jones

Yeah I can see that, maybe also because of the 4:3 aspect ratio.
You've definitely improved since the last time I watched/reviewed your stuff. There's part that made me laugh, and I'm hard to make someone laugh, intentional comedy wise
JJ reminds me of the protagonist from the obscure game GoGo Kokopolo, being mischievous cat-like characters

Anyone who managed to write a more longer story for the standards of it's medium has my admiration. Since there can be situation in storytelling where it feels like it ended prematurely without any punchline, buildup, or bang (figuratively or literally).
I give you my admiration for making a story that feels like an typical cartoon episode that isn't just a short gag (no hating on gag comics, it's just that I think making something that feels like a full-fledged story that doesn't end prematurely is harder)
Thanks. The quality isn't the best admittedly, but at least I make a story with these comics.
That's extremely adorable. The effects and texture really make it shine
